Translucent feather and leaf like brushstrokes in colours gleaned from birds and bush, cascade down this piece followed by a patterned layer of metallic gold which felt like dappled light streaming into the bush catching on feathers and leaves as it fell. The golden pattern along the top represents the canopy followed by light piercing the canopy and falling to the bush floor. This is the kind of artwork that brings the outdoors in. I found this piece difficult to photograph and have included a detail photo to give you an idea of how it responds differently when viewed from different angles in different light. There is one of it lying on the deck next to "Bush Dwellers" when a varnish coat was hardening where you can see the gold edges so it has a finished and well-presented look already if you choose not to add any framing.
